Hamburger Bahnhof – Museum für Gegenwart – Berlin
I organize digital exhibitions that address the divide between reality and virtuality, as well as the gap between the quality of artists’ works and their fame. Artists are invited who have not yet had the chance to take part in major exhibitions even though their work is no less powerful than that of their more successful colleagues. The basis for these digital exhibitions consists of photos of artists’ works plus photos of the interiors of well-known galleries and museums. Using programs such as 3ds Max or Adobe Photoshop, the works are displayed in these spaces. This action is designed to help me and my colleagues close the gap between fame and work, and to encourage art-sector organizers to be on the lookout for new talent.
